Personal Reflection and Planning
It has been a long journey, learning so many new skills and implementing new projects in my classroom. I will continue to experiment with new ideas to stay abreast of the new technology that are at my fingertips. I want to give my students the best advantage to move to the next level and be prepared for the 21st century. I have learned how to integrate technology in my teaching. To continue to work with my students and having them collaborate with one another and share their ideas. We have experimented with a variety of sites and tools and have been able to move forward using technology. I will be cognizant of which tools to use to make the teaching more engaging and receptive for my students.
I will be sharing our success with my new incoming class and they can see what we have been doing, I am sure that will motivate them to build on that learning and create even more in depth projects. I will also continue to work with my technology coordinator and reaching out to my grade level team. I am also planning on having my students share their experience with the new incoming class, by creating short videos that we will include in our class website. I will also to continue to be a reflective learner and participate with more professional development related to STEM. I have already enrolled in a professional development during the summer.
As I continue to learn I will be sharing my knowledge with my coworker and that working together our school will be able to offer more to all students. My desire is to continue to work with technology and use these social media as learning tools for my students.
